Terms of Service

Effective January 1, 2026, Altus Logistics LLC (hereinafter referred to as 'Altus Logistics' or 'we') provides comprehensive freight brokerage services across the U.S.–Mexico border. By utilizing our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Service Scope
Altus Logistics acts as a third-party intermediary, connecting shippers with vetted carriers. We do not directly operate the transportation vehicles but facilitate the movement of freight. We provide proactive tracking and communication updates from pickup to final delivery.

2. Rates and Pricing
All freight quotes provided are indicative and subject to change based on market conditions, fuel surcharges, and carrier availability. Final rates are confirmed upon booking and are non-negotiable. Shippers are responsible for any additional fees, taxes, or duties associated with cross-border movement.

3. Liability and Insurance
While we strive for maximum reliability, freight brokerage inherently involves risks. Altus Logistics is not liable for loss or damage to cargo resulting from carrier negligence, weather, or border delays. We recommend that all shippers maintain their own comprehensive insurance coverage.

4. Communication and Updates
We are committed to clear communication. You will receive regular updates via email or our proprietary tracking portal. In the event of delays or changes to the estimated arrival time, we will provide immediate notification.

5. Termination
Either party may terminate the brokerage agreement with thirty (30) days' written notice. Upon termination, all outstanding payments for completed shipments must be settled in full.

6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, USA. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nogales, Arizona.
